Hull Surface, Coons & Gordon Surfaces.

A very powerfool tool. It allows you to create a surface that is defined by one up to N curves. Each curve must share one point with another curve.

With Amapi 3D, there are three ways of creating a hull surface:

The hull surface
Coons surfaces (from 1 to N curves)
Gordon surfaces (from 4 to n curves, with some curves = latitude, and some curves = longitude)

Example with 3 curves (Coons)

Create three curves. They may be created with any 3D orientation and don't have to lie in a single plane. Each curve must share one point with another curve (Hold the shift key ).

First curve Second curve Third curve

Select the Coons surface tool. Click on the three curves (they are now white), press enter, and your mesh appears.

The three curves have disappeared, they are hidden. If you nedd them, use the show tool.

Example with 1 curve.

Create one curve ( in my example, I've done a circle with the circle tool, and I have bent it.)

Select the Coons surface tool, click on the curve (it is now white), press enter, and your hull appears.
